iOS Setup Quick Copy

Installation

Requires iOS 16.0 or later

Download the "Quick Copy" Shortcut

  1. Click here to download the "Quick Copy Text" shortcut.
  2. Or click here to download the "Quick Copy Image" shortcut.
  3. Click "Get Shortcut" to open it in Safari.
  4. Click "Get Shortcut" to open it in the Shortcuts app.
  5. Tap the "…" icon at the top right and select "Add Shortcut".
  6. Tap "Add Untrusted Shortcut".
  7. Tap "Add Shortcut".
  8. Tap "Allow".
  9. Tap "Done".
  10. Tap "Quick Copy" to start using it.
  11. On first use, you may need to grant certain permissions for the shortcut to work.

Usage

Using "Quick Copy" via System Share

  1. Open the content you want to copy.
  2. Tap the "Share" button.
  3. In the share sheet, find the "Quick Copy" shortcut.
  4. Tap the "Quick Copy" shortcut.
  5. Wait for the shortcut to execute.

Using "Quick Copy" by Tapping the Back of Your Device

  1. Go to "Settings" > "Accessibility" > "Touch".
  2. Scroll to the bottom and tap "Back Tap".
  3. Choose either "Double Tap" or "Triple Tap" based on your preference.
  4. Select "Quick Copy" from the list.

Using "Quick Copy" via Siri

  1. Say "Hey Siri".
  2. Say "Run Quick Copy".
  3. Wait for Siri to execute it.

Using the Shortcuts App to Run "Quick Copy"

  1. Open the Shortcuts app.
  2. Find the "Quick Copy" shortcut.
  3. Tap the "Quick Copy" shortcut.
  4. Wait for the shortcut to execute.
