Activation & Licensing

QuestionAnswer
How do I activate Octoclip? After checkout you receive a license key. On desktop open Settings → License; on mobile open Settings → Pro and paste the key.
How many devices can I use?A single key covers the number of devices shown on your receipt. You can deactivate a device at any time from the same settings page.
Can I try before buying?Yes – the free tier lets you keep Clip History for 24 hours and sync with one other device. Upgrade any time to unlock full history and multi-device support.
What happens if I reinstall my OS?Simply activate again; it will count as the same device unless your hardware ID changes.

Privacy & Security

  • Octoclip never uploads raw clipboard data without permission.
  • Clip content is encrypted locally before it leaves your device.
  • Crash & usage analytics are anonymous; advertising IDs are not collected.
  • On Android, the Accessibility Service permission is used only for clipboard monitoring and trigger replacement.
