1. Pre-sale License Delivery

  • After purchase you will receive an order-confirmation email.
  • On the official release day (expected September 2025) the permanent license key will be sent automatically to your purchase email; enter it in the app to activate.
  • Before the official release you can use the built-in 7–14 day Pro trial (no serial required).

2. Nearby Sync (LAN)

  • Data travels only on your local network (LAN) and works over Ethernet, Thunderbolt direct link, or the same Wi-Fi.
  • Any activated device can sync with an unlimited number of other devices; seat count is not a limitation.

3. Custom Cloud (BYOC)

  • Supports WebDAV, S3 and more.
  • Uses the same sync protocol as the official cloud, offers end-to-end encryption, and all data is fully user-controlled.

4. Device Activations

  • Only the number of devices that unlock premium features is limited (2 or 5 seats); installations are unlimited.
  • You can free up activations via License Manager → Reset All once every 7 days.

1 · What is the pre-sale? How long does the early-bird discount last?

The pre-sale is a limited-time window before the official launch, offering a 30 % early-bird discount.
The discount ends 48 hours before release or when quota runs out—whichever comes first (first-come, first-served).

2 · When can I use the app after buying? When does the license become valid?

  • Right after checkout you’ll get an order email and can download the current Beta with a built-in 7–14 day Pro trial.
  • On release day the permanent license key will arrive in your inbox; enter it once to unlock forever.

3 · Is the pre-sale refundable?

Yes. We offer a 30-day no-questions-asked refund starting from the purchase date.
After 30 days—or once the official version ships—the standard refund policy applies.

4 · Are there any feature differences between pre-sale and final release?

No. Once activated you get the exact same feature set as the final release, plus 12 months of free updates.

5 · Will the price change later?

6 · What does “device activations” mean? Does Nearby Sync have limits?

  • Device activations cap only the number of devices that can use premium features.
  • Activated devices can Nearby-Sync with any number of other devices over LAN—no extra limits.

7 · Can I try before buying?

Absolutely. A fresh installation automatically grants a 7–14 day full Pro trial; after it ends you drop to the Free tier and all data stays intact.

8 · What happens when the update period ends?

You may keep using the installed version forever but won’t receive new features.
Renew 12 months of updates at any time for roughly 40–50 % of the original price.

9 · How do I transfer my license to a new machine?

Deactivate it on the old device via License Manager, then enter the key on the new device—no seats lost.

10 · Lost device or forgot to deactivate?

Use License Manager → Reset All to free every activation; available once every 7 days.

11 · Can I lend my personal license to colleagues or friends?

No. Personal licenses are for devices you own or control. For team use, purchase extra seats or a business license.
